UP: Urdu poet attacked with acid in Firozabad for confronting those accused of sexually harassing school girls
A 42-year-old Urdu poet was attacked with acid and was beaten up by miscreants on Saturday in Firozabad district of Uttar Pradesh after he allegedly confronted those accused for sexually harassing school girls. The poet, Hashim Firozabadi, was attacked in Rasoolpur area of the district. The police have registered an FIR against the miscreants into the case.
